Lease Lawyers is a service of Professional Edge Lawyers, a business name of Professional Edge Services Pty Ltd (“we”, “our”, “us”). We collect, use and disclose personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), the Australian Privacy Principles and this policy. We also comply with the obligations of confidentiality under the general law and the rules regulating the legal profession.
What we collect
When you contact us, we collect the details you give us, such as your name, email address, phone number and information about your lease or enquiry. If we act for you, we collect the information we need to provide legal services. Because of the nature of legal services, we cannot generally deal with people who do not identify themselves.

We collect personal information directly from you, including through the enquiry form on this website, by email and by phone. With your consent, we may also collect information from your other advisers or from other parties to your matter.
How we use and disclose it
We use your information to respond to your enquiry and, if we act for you, to provide legal services. In the course of a matter we may disclose information to barristers, courts, tribunals, other parties’ lawyers and service providers we use to run the practice, in accordance with our professional duties. We may disclose information where the law requires it.
Where it is stored
Enquiries sent through this website are emailed to our practice mailbox. We use software and IT services from providers such as Microsoft and Google, whose servers may be in Australia or overseas. We take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Website analytics
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use it, such as the pages visited and the site that referred you. Google Analytics uses cookies. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Access and correction
